Painted View

I constantly look for different viewpoints to capture a familiar place. This is the Lower Falls view at Artist Point in Yellowstone. I'm most fascinated because the lighting here creates a painting effect - as if the photo was painted onto a canvas. The sun played peek-a-boo and changed the canyon walls from blues (shadow) to golds, bouncing off the water spray.
