Legacy

Do I leave my mark or leave no trace

As I pass through this world?

I do not know.

I do know that

Mountains will continue long after we fade.

Living plants are stronger than concrete

Butterflies complete longer journeys than many people do.

They do not seek legacy.

They live the lightning-flash of their lives

Catching the sun on their faces
